Hilary’s Holiday Hemp Loaf

 

Ingredients

4 T coconut oil, melted
1/2 onion, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
1/2 t sea salt
1 t pepper
1 t rosemary, diced
2 t dried sage
8 mushrooms, cleaned and diced
2 pk Hilary's Hemp & Greens Burgers, thawed and diced

 

Preparation

Ingredients 4 T coconut oil, melted 1/2 onion, diced 2 celery stalks, diced 1/2 t sea salt 1 t pepper 1 t rosemary, diced 2 t dried sage 8 mushrooms, cleaned and diced 2 pk Hilary's Hemp & Greens Burgers, thawed and diced Preparation Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the oil and swirl to cover the pan. Add all ingredients except the burgers. Saute over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the diced burgers. Stir. Remove from the heat. Mix everything together. Clean hands work the best, squeezing and pressing to fully incorporate all the ingredients. Oil a baking sheet with 1/2 the coconut oil. Shape the mixture into an even loaf shape, about 4” across and 9” long. Press firmly. Oil your hands with the remaining coconut oil and wipe across the loaf. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until lightly brown and hot all the way through.
