Hilary’s Eat Well started with a passion for delicious, whole foods and a groundbreaking recipe that would become “The World’s Best Veggie Burger.”

In 2005, Hilary’s founder created her original veggie burger recipe for the innovative local foods-based restaurant she owned in Lawrence, Kansas. As a food-allergy sufferer, Hilary knew first-hand how difficult it could be to find healthy, convenient foods, free from common food allergens and artificial ingredients. She wanted to create a great-tasting, go-to product for all kinds of eaters.

Made with whole-grain millet, sweet potato and leafy greens, Hilary’s original veggie burger was a game changer. Beloved by restaurant patrons, the burger became known as "The World's Best Veggie Burger." The name stuck.

Excited at the opportunity to bring her unique veggie burger to shoppers throughout the world, Hilary started Hilary’s Eat Well in 2010 with the intention of creating delicious, convenient, “free-from” products for everyone.

As Hilary’s Eat Well has evolved and grown over time, we’ve remained committed to our original mission: to provide nourishment to eaters of all kinds. Hilary’s now sells a variety of veggie patties and bites, all of which are made with whole-food ingredients, “free-from” and, if we do say so ourselves, completely delicious. They’re available in grocery stores throughout the U.S.
